Babies..Babies...

It's a Girl & a Boy! Since our last post we have been blessed with two new spirits join our family. Christie & Craig..had their 6th Royal Alan. He's so sweet!

Then came Ben & Aimee's 2nd...Shylah Mave! Isn't she a doll! Shylah was actually born on Mom's b-day...way to wait till the 15th Aimee

Ben, Christie, & I did well. We have each been able to have a child on our parents & grandparent birthday.

Dakota was Grandma Chuters...Camilla was Dads...and Shylah was Moms! I figure we're squared away with the birthday gifts for a while!

Back From the Dead

I can't believe it's been almost 5 months since I've posted or even looked at anything on our blog. One thing after another and time slips away. Thanks Chelle for reminding me that I've neglected the site. I will try to update this next week.

After baseball, basketball, football, soccer, etc. Coda has finally found a sport he likes...SWIMMING! He wants to join the swim team this summer, so we enrolled him in a stroke clinic to help him with the basic techniques. He knows his strokes, but I wanted him to back up a little to make sure they were being done correctly. Here are a few clips of what he did tonight. I'm so proud of my little fish.

From Blonde to Black

Steven will NOT take pictures willingly, had to barge into his room, toss him on his couch & sit on him. I just had to show you his new "black hair & eyebrows". Yes he did his eyebrows too. What happened to my little blonde boy! We made a deal, if we cut off his long hair, he could color it. Wanta know how he decided on the color? Direct Quote here "The girl on the box was hot"

Music & Bugs

Since the whole point of me blogging is to have a journal of all the daily things that goes on, I have a horrible memory, by the time my kids are grown I don't think I'll be able to even remember their names, let alone all the funny things they said or did. So here's one this mornin'. Gotta give ya some background to this one. Haydens ears drain, this current episode has been about a month now. It's messy & stinks! So I have to make it fun to clean it up or he won't let me near. So I put drops of peroxide in his ears, it bubbles. I tell him the bubbles trap the bugs inside and float out his ear, then I have to wipe it clean. Next piece of the puzzle, he has a Thomas the Tank Engine toothbrush, that plays music. Well today he's walking around the house with the toothbrush all up in his ear. Yuck! His response.."When Steven plays his music really loud, I don't like it, so I go away. I wanted to play Thomas really loud, so the bugs will go away too" Ya makes perfect sense to me!

Someone's sick again!

Kennedy comes in & crawls in bed with us last night...how sweet right. I get to snuggle with my little girl..WRONG! After snuggling for a while I turn over so my back is facing her, that's when she decides to share her dinner with me. She could have at least told me when she climbed in bed that she wasn't feeling well, that tidbit of information would have nice to have. Well thank goodness for my thick hair, I was able to absorb most of it with that! Nice feeling climbing out of bed, and I do mean climb..Rick thinks we have to have a bed so high in the air we need a ladder to get in & out...kid you not the beds so high, there's nights I get nose bleeds. Anyway making that 15 foot trip from the bedroom to the bathroom "dripping with vomit". NOT FUN! Long Story Short, we're all cleaned up now and ready for round 2. (1 1/2 hours later) I knew it was coming. Oh ya we went through round 2, 3, & 4. I was almost down in 3..wasn't ready for that added surprise..a little sneek attack if ya know what I mean. Ya YUCK! Well better get back to my girl...Watch out Rocky, you ain't got nothing on me!
